I had been using FSD injections (Frame Shift Drive, which allows our ships to jump through hyperspace). The injections give a temporary (1 jump) increase in jump range. To continue to use the injections I needed some more raw materials.
That brought me to the system Praea Aoscs KW-D b41-1. The second and third worlds had moons containing vanadium and polonium. The discovery of polonium was good because it gave me the ability to use the 100% jump range injection.
